Woodside Farm is a historic farm in Sooke BC which started farming in 1851, making it Western Canada's oldest continuously operated farm. It was the original homestead of the Muir family, one of the founding families in the Sooke region. The farm continues to operate today producing hay, fruits, vegetables, berries, eggs and more.
The farm has now become a friendly destination in Sooke, welcoming locals and visitors to meet our friendly animals, view our gardens, walk our amazing apple orchard maze and learn more about the history of Sooke.
The farm welcomes visitors on Saturday's and also hosts birthday parties and other private events and has some beautiful Airbnb accommodations for those seeking a wonderful countryside escape.
